Must-Have (Primary Skills)
- Basic understanding of PostgreSQL (PSQL) and relational database concepts.
- Ability to write simple to intermediate SQL queries (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE).
- Understanding of database normalization, tables, indexes, and constraints.
- Exposure to joins, views, and basic stored procedures or functions.
- Ability to analyze data requirements and translate them into database structures.
- Willingness to learn performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
- Understanding of data integrity, security, and backup concepts.
- Basic knowledge of working with backend applications and APIs.
Added Advantage
- Hands-on practice with PostgreSQL through academic projects or internships.
